it's time to find out what Italy is really all about!"

The home is just a charming “work in progress,” and truly takes you back in time. I believe I'll have to visit in all four seasons.....what a great excuse!

Look no further! This is a great place to relax and take in the truth of life in the slow lane! We would be happy to stay here for longer than the owners have availability. T H A N K. Y O U for a marvellous must needed rest.

Sam and Lisa have been amazing and could not have done more to make me feel welcome.
The apartment is so comfortable, quiet and perfectly nestled in a very friendly valley near the French border. Everyone is welcome here and in 'The Valley'.

Staying with Sam and Lisa is a personal vision of the simple life in the Northern Alps of Italy. Growing veggies, hiking to the Pra, meeting the locals and enjoying the local food and a drop of vino. A perfect experience that you will never find at your travel agent or Hilton hotel.

The Pether family would just like to thank Sam, Lisa & family for an amazing Italian Borgata experience. We loved every moment of staying with you guys. Hospitality was spot on. Apartment is gorgeous (you both did an amazing job) as are the views, countryside and locals. None of us wanted to leave.

Hi from Malputus, experience the fabulous home cooking and ambience with Sam, Lisa and the family. They have a fully self contained flat and if you want the whole Italian country experience without all the frills, I must say it is really beautiful.
Sam also can help you if you are thinking of buying property in Italy. He knows all the in's and outs of buying and can guide you through the miriad of paper work etc.
A small walk around this medieval Borgata and then a nap before dinner. Fab Zucchini pasta with a tomato based sauce, followed by Cottacino (Not sure if I spelt that right) but Italians know what it is, with wild mushrooms and delicious potatoes. Plenty of Vino Rosso and guess what, I am about to hit the hay.
Roll on tomorrow for another rural adventure.

Visiting Borgata Malpertus is like stepping back in time to another world, an ancient farming community with narrow pathways, arched doorways, and hidden courtyards.
